Statment
On Tradition is the culmination of Moshava Art’s 2026 Artist Cohort. These six selected artists will have spent a month creating in our studio, gathering at our dinner table and consulting with a handful of seasoned mentors. You are invited to celebrate their accomplishments at our opening reception
The artwork included in this group exhibition explores the broad theme of ritual, custom and culture. Whether it is a full plate or an empty kitchen, the compositions let us participate in the traditions of each artist on display.

Fennel Eaters
Tal Tamam’s “Fennel Eaters” is a solo painting exhibition at Moshava Art exploring innocence, change, and impermanence through vibrant depictions of culturally significant vegetables in various stages of ripeness and decay.
Fragments of Home
Noy Finer’s “Fragments of Home” is a solo photography exhibition exploring place, memory, and identity through 15 works. Scanograms, collages, and handmade prints examine the challenges of preserving roots while embracing new beginnings.
Solo Residency Exhibition
Josh Tiessen’s “Solo Residency Exhibition” showcases eco-surrealist paintings exploring faith, environmentalism, and humanity’s relationship with nature. Featuring new works created on-site, the exhibition blends visual theology, irony, and whimsy with visions of hope.
Mother Tongue
Lenore Mizrachi-Cohen’s “Mother Tongue” is a solo retrospective at Moshava Art featuring intricate, three-dimensional Arabic calligraphy. Spanning five years, the exhibition explores Syrian Jewish heritage, cultural identity, language, and mental health.
